Our story was recently featured in The New York Times Opinion section, and the response confirmed what we've always believed: this story matters and needs to be told in full. One of Many is the feature-length documentary behind that piece. We have a rough cut but we need help to finish it. We're fundraising to cover the final stages of editing, animation, color grading, sound design, and music composition. Our goal is to raise $215,000 to complete post-production and prepare for film festival submission. Every dollar gets us closer. Thank you so much for your support.

our STORY

ONE OF MANY is the personal, yet resonant story of Mike Wagner—a devoted dad and blue-collar worker whose life unraveled after a job accident and whose fate was sealed when the systems designed to help those like him didn’t. Unable to get the care he needed, Mike took his life on February 10, 2018. But he left behind more than memories.

He left 694 privately recorded video diaries, found by his daughter and caregiver, Brittany. Videos that document his fight to live a normal life, love for his kids, and his plea to be heard. Now, she’s made his mission her own.
