AN INTIMATE LOOK AT THE REALITY OF LIVING with chronic pain (AND CARING FOR IT). told by those who lived it, and those left behind.

our STORY

ONE OF MANY is the personal, yet resonant story of Mike Wagner—a devoted dad and blue-collar worker whose life unraveled after a job accident and whose fate was sealed when the systems designed to help those like him didn’t. Unable to get the care he needed, Mike took his life on February 10, 2018. But he left behind more than memories. He left behind 697 privately recorded video diaries, found by his daughter, Brittany. Videos that document his fight to live a normal life, love for his kids, and his plea to be heard.

WANT TO INVEST?

We’re looking for partners who see the urgency—and opportunity—in bringing this story to life. While chronic pain is our lens, the film speaks to something bigger: how we treat invisible suffering and who gets left behind.
